Following the last two sold-out lectures at Newtown Neighbourhood Centre on the Identification of Australian Mushrooms and Fundamentals of Psychedelic Medicine, Voytek Bereza a licensed neuropsychopharmacist (GPhC no. 2068979) returns for a second showing delving deeper into the principles behind Psychedelic Medicine. | |||
This lecture will give you the chance to experience a temporary, non-drug-induced hallucinogenic state using stroboscopics (see Figure 1). | |||

Prior to the demonstration, there will be a 45-minute lecture which includes: | |||
* An in-depth comparison of psychedelic compounds covering effect, duration of action, and safety. | |||
* Reviewing the most up-to-date scientific data on efficacy and use in depression and anxiety. | |||
* Where they are found in nature including common cacti and mushroom species. | |||
* Legality data including the most recent TGA (Australian Government Medicine Agency). | |||
* How they might be used to better recognise and address the environmental crisis. | |||
The lecture will last for 45 minutes with an extended 30 minutes at the end for further questions and group discussion. | |||
