A potion is a liquid with healing, magical, or poisonous properties often found in mythology. Most notable to the use of psychedelics are Kykeon, Cerridwen's Brew, Soma, and Flying Ointments. The word "potion" originates from the Latin word potio, meaning "a drink" or "draught," derived from potare, meaning "to drink."
