Relativity of ethics
From BurnZero
Relativity of ethics is the concept that something that is deemed good might not be good for everyone. A simple analogy would be a mother stealing a loaf of bread for her starving child. Whilst stealing the bread is obviously good for the mother and child, it is bad for the baker and common society. In the context of this site good is always what is best for the planet, earth first. Oddly in the bread example this is difficult to discern, however from a political sense something is deemed good if it is good for the earth.
