The Transparent Company

Following the tenet, the idea for an initial business which meets all of the requirements is difficult. Most notably the first two laws:

First Law - the company is For Externality Minimisation
Second Law - the corporation may not harm humanity, or, by inaction, allow humanity to come to harm.

To reduce the amount of externality minimisation required it would be best to start from a point where most of this is done already. For instance starting a coal mining firm would not be the best place to start as it creates a large amount of externalities, CO2, emissions, biodiversity loss etc... So lowest impact... autonomous system would be preferable. A Decentralized Semi Autonomous Organization (DSAO) is most suited for this.

Active Commissions

Works are pending contracts in place which anyone can apply to do.

1 - Twitter Connection

For transparency and the creation of an uneditable, third party maintained log of updates to this wiki. We have commissioned the creation of a Twitter bot which sends a tweet everytime the main update page updates. This is scheduled for completion at the end of July.

2 - Reference Weighting

Applications such as Obsidian or Logseq give the ability to graphically represent data point similar to this System graph. A commision has been granted for the creation of a mediawiki plugin to allow access to a rendering of related topics with associated weighting.

Commission Proposals

Commission proposals are ideas which have been generated by the Subreddit community for proposed tenet compliant businesses. So far these include.

1 - Renewable Hosting

BurnZero is hosted on a industry standard server meaning it is more than likely powered by coal. The first action to address therefore would be to minimise the externality caused by the server by using a renewable energy source.

2 - Sea Water Conversion

Sea water, conversion to clean water. Using parabolic mirrors to condense light onto thermo/photovoltaic^[1] cells which generate electricity to power no-filter^[2] water filtration units.

3 - Tool Rental

Tool Library

A communally shared, low use / duration tools rental service which provides saws and axel grinders to people in an area.

4 - Data Centre Heat

Turn the heat produced by a data centre into heating for a house or even a city^[3].

5 - Solar

Build an ap like https://www.legends.solar/ where the recycling cost of the solar panel is factored into the rebate made.
