As individuals we believe we are intelligent, however when we act as a populace this intelligents is often lost to the lowest common denominator. If we are to solve any problem we need to start by looking at ourselves to see what has gone wrong before we take any new bold action. Human thought processes proceed as if it is reporting objectively, but in fact, it is often colouring and distorting perception in unexpected ways.
