A Decentralized Semi Autonomous Organization (DSAO) is a type of transparent, automated organisation that was designed to run itself with minimal human intervention. A DSAO is a regression from the Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAOs) as DSAOs recognise the limitations of current technology to provide full business automation.
DSAOs are based on open-source code and have minimal dependency on typical management structures as the majority of inner workings of the company are fully autonomous. DSAOs have the advantage over traditional corporations as, they reduce:
- Power dynamic corruption
- Human error
- Manipulation of investor funds
It is thought that by using defined ethical tenets an incorporation statement can be created created which would lead to a good DSAO called the Transparent Company.
