Event description
Following the last sold-out lecture at Newtown Neighbourhood Centre on the Identification of Australian Mushrooms, Voytek Bereza (GPhC no. 2068979) returns to present a new lecture on the Fundamentals of Psychedelic Medicine.
This lecture will cover the basic classes of psychedelics, including:
- An in-depth comparison of psychedelic compounds covering effect, duration of action, and safety.
- Reviewing the most up-to-date scientific data on efficacy and use in depression and anxiety.
- Where they are found in nature including common cacti and mushroom species.
- Legality data including the most recent TGA (Australian Government Medicine Agency).
The lecture will last for 45 minutes with an extended 30 minutes at the end for further questions.
