Gas lighting is the process of manipulating someone psychologically such that they start to doubt their own perception of reality. The video above shows how in our modern world this becomes an emergent phenomena of digital screens being the shadows on the walls of the cave. At first, it seems easy to resist, but if it continues people can start to question their own reality and start to adopt a new one.
