Political transparency

From BurnZero

Politicians get into power by campaigning. The better funded a campaign the more likely a candidate is to get into office. Taking Australia as an example, some data about political donations has been released[1]. And public funding for campaigning has been debated[2], however it is still allowed that corporate sponsorship is allowed.

We the open data available from the APH is difficult to digest so we illustrated it better below...

Graph 1: Donations made to each politician.

You can type in a name of an Australian political candidate and it will show who their main financial contributors are.
