| This is nothing new, benevolent Not For Profits (NFPs) such as GreenPeace and WWF have been operating since the 60's. However, because of their governmental status which exempts them from Income Tax and Corporation Tax, they operate extremely conservatively and cannot act disruptively. This is because instead of fiduciary duty pushing their productivity, they work in anxiety that if they piss off the State their Tax Exemption Status may be revoked which would lead to a massive reduction in income. The second debilitating NFP issue that compounds this primary issue is that a charity's primary tenet of operation is not lean profiteering, but survival.
